it’s called e-wrapping because your loop of yarn is vaguely like a small letter “e”. If you’ll note off to the right there, PurlingSprite produces some GREAT vids about the techniques. I mainly made this so a friend a few states away could see me do this.

They are called Knifty Knitters. You can get them at Walmart or Target, or any craft store. They aren’t to expensive either!
