yes . you can use one needle, I like double pointed needles, so was using them … but a circular needle would be ideal.

Thank you for the video! I have one question though. Can’t I use only one circular needle (without the two-ended needles to ) to do the brioche stitch? Do you have or can you recomend a video that demonstrates that?

people learn different ways – I’m sorry that you need to hear the explanation of what is shown to understand what you see … the camera I was using when I posted this in November 2007 did not allow for good recording of sound. Try one of the other briche demonstrations – that might help you

I’ve made a new and clearer video, turns out that I don’t need a new camera, the camera man was having an off day! Sorry about the quality issues in the last video, I borrowed a brand new Sony camera from work and it was no better than my 4 year old Minolta, There are technical focus difficulties in making a movie of a moving object so close up – which seem to be true of any camera.

I find all of Stell66 videos to be very helpful and easy to follow. Please, oh please update your camera, this technique was very fuzzy especially with the light colored yarn. None the less, a very worthwhile contribution to an excellent series.
