    Hi Teresa, I just …
Hi Teresa, I just wanted you to know I went to click the “play” arrow on the video and my finger slipped and clicked on the stars. Two stars more specifically – which is NOT what I would have rated your vid. SO sorry! It won’t let me re-do it. Also, my daughter had what I thought was a good suggestion. She said if you sewed small buttons on the inside of the cover you could button them through the underneath cap to hold the cover in place. Then you could have multiple interchangable covers.

You can do whatever you want with it. I sew the cover on so it will stay in place to keep it from shifting.

I made the cover to …
I made the cover to go over the hat. It may be possible that you crocheted your cover tighter. You can try a larger crochet hook which may help give you the right size for your cover.

    Thanks for posting …
Thanks for posting such a beautiful pattern. I completed a HDC hat with brim today & started to make a cover but the cover foundation (60 SC) looks little smaller than the hat when measured. The hat with brim perfectly fits my head. Is the cover bigger, comparing to the hat? so how many more SC should i make to make it perfect?

    I thought I would …
I thought I would look up crochet patterns. Your tutorials are awesome. Thanks for taking the time to post them. I have been crocheting since I was eleven and taught myself to crochet hats, socks and blankets. recently over the last 4 years been trying to make sweaters and dresses. I have macular degeneration so reading books just doesn’t do it for me. so thanks again, I now have more ideas with this video. cheers!
