can i bring knitting needles on the airplane?

im flying to LA in a few days, and im knitting a scarf. am i allowed to bring the knitting needles and the 1/2 made scarf on the plane so i can work on it? or will airplane security not let me bring them on the plane?

Yes. The TSA, the ones who make the rules, specifically state that knitting needles ARE allowed.

    You can’t bring knitting needles onto a plane, as far as I know. Unless they’re plastic, in which case they might, but I’m not sure.
